When a spreadsheet stops being enough
Repeated updates across bookings, property care and owner reporting can become hard to keep aligned. Explore the sample dashboard to see a connected workflow.
Try the live demo ↗When a spreadsheet is no longer enough
For a client, we connected booking records, expenses and owner reporting in a custom system. The client saved more than 30 hours a month on administrative bookkeeping and grew its portfolio by 40% in under a year without adding office staff.
Results from one project, not a promise. Growth occurred alongside the change; it is not attributed to the software alone.
Frequently asked questions
Is this Excel template free to download?
Yes. Download the .xlsx workbook directly without entering an email address or creating an account. It includes instructions and fictional examples.
What can I track in the rental income and expense workbook?
Booking income, booking channels and expenses feed a 12-month summary for the selected year and property, or all properties.
Is net operating contribution the same as profit or owner payout?
No. It is an operational summary of entered income, fees and expenses. It is not an accounting profit figure or an owner payout.
How are cross-month stays handled?
Income and nights fall entirely in the entered posting month. The workbook does not split stays across months and is not an occupancy report.
Does sample data affect my real results?
Sample rows are excluded in default LIVE mode. Use LIVE mode for your own records.
Has it been tested in Microsoft Excel?
It is supplied as an Excel .xlsx file and was recalculated and tested in LibreOffice Calc, not native desktop Microsoft Excel. Check it in your spreadsheet app before relying on the results. Formula cells are not locked.
